Anxiety & stress

Steadying an overwhelmed nervous system and quieting the constant hum of worry.

Grief & loss

Room to grieve what's gone — a person, a relationship, or the life you expected — without rushing it.

Self-esteem

Untangling old messages about your worth and building a kinder relationship with yourself.

Services

Core approach

EMDR therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing helps your brain process difficult experiences that feel "stuck" — so memories of what happened stop running your present. As an EMDR-trained counsellor, I weave EMDR into our work when you're ready, always at a pace that feels safe.

Specialty

Trauma & PTSD counselling

Support for single-event trauma and the longer, layered kind — childhood experiences, accidents, loss, and the patterns they leave behind. Grounded, practical sessions focused on helping you feel steadier in your own life.

Specialty

Abuse recovery

Healing after sexual abuse, domestic violence, or emotional abuse. We work on safety, boundaries, and rebuilding trust in your own perceptions — you set the pace, always.

Specialty

Addiction & recovery counselling

Non-judgmental support for substance use and other addictive patterns, informed by years of front-line addictions work. We look at what's underneath the behaviour, not just the behaviour itself.

In the toolkit

DBT-informed counselling

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills for big emotions and hard relationships: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and communicating what you need.

In the toolkit

Somatic / body-based work

Trauma lives in the body as much as the mind. Body-based approaches help your nervous system settle — easing the tension, numbness, and always-on alertness that talk alone can miss.
